Fee Structure

Transaction fees are paid in PICNIC. These fees are partly paid to node operators (validators) and are invested in the Picnic Fund. The expansion of the Picnic Fund is distributed proportionally to holders of PICNIC token in BASKET token.

Types of fees

  • PAIR/PICNIC= 1%, 0.5% if paid in PICNIC

  • Minting fee = 1% paid in PICNIC

  • Redemption fee = 10%

Fee Distribution

  • 20% to node validators (NVs)

  • 70% invested in the Picnic Fund of which 50% mints new BASKET which is distributed to PICNIC holders (0.97% will be held in )

  • 10% to insurance pools

Rewards

The expansion of the BASKET fund is paid in the minting and distribution of BASKET tokens to current holders.

BASKET rewards are paid at the end of each cycle (time period subject to governance). 90% of funds distributed (equal to a 10% fee which is added to overall value of the (i.e. BASKET token).
