BASKET Tokenomics

BASKET is a value coin with ever increasing purchasing power.

BASKET is created by minting tokens i.e depositing to the fund with a Picnic Network fee of 1%

70% of the Picnic Network fees contribute to the Picnic Fund, see BASKET Rebalancing.

90% of this expansion is distributed in newly minted BASKET to PICNIC holders. The remaining 10% remains in the fund, this ratio is subject to governance.

The only methods of acquiring BASKET are to mint it directly or receive it as a reward for participating in the Picnic Network (i.e holding and using PICNIC).

The management and custody of these funds (the Picnic Fund) will be decentralised, democratic and permissionless.
